Many of Negril’s best places are independently owned and don’t have large marketing budgets or polished websites.

Why It Exists
The idea for Discover Negril started with a surprisingly simple problem.
Finding breakfast.
Staying on the West End cliffs is one of the best experiences in Jamaica—but trying to figure out which restaurants were actually open in the morning was far more difficult than it should have been. Hours were inconsistent, maps were incomplete, and finding reliable information often meant jumping between Facebook pages, Google searches, and old blog posts.
If something as simple as breakfast could be that frustrating, what about everything else?
That question became the foundation for Discover Negril.
Today the directory continues to grow with one purpose: to become the most complete and reliable source for discovering businesses throughout Negril.

Discover Negril was founded by Mark Robinson, a digital marketer with Jamaican roots who was born and raised in Canada. Like many members of the Jamaican diaspora, Negril has always felt like more than just a vacation destination. After countless visits over the years, it became clear that one of Jamaica's most loved towns deserved a better way to discover everything it has to offer. With more than two decades of experience building online directories and digital platforms, creating Discover Negril became an opportunity to combine professional experience with a genuine appreciation for the town.
